French Toast

Who would have thought Flour would make a great addition to French Toast???

Ingredients:

1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 cup milk
Pinch of Salt
3 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 stick of butter
Bread

Directions:

  1. Measure flour into a large mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sugar until smooth.
  2. Heat  griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Soak bread slices in mixture until just coated.
  4. Place a slice of butter on the grill….and let it melt just a bit.
  5. Then place bread on top of butter to Cook.  Cook bread on each side until golden brown. Serve hot.
***Tips***Make sure you whisk everything together completely.  Add eggs one at a time and whisk.  Continue to whisk before coating bread.  Do not soak bread in mixture.  Just dip it in enough to coat both sides.
